Dead Lars and the Dirty Ground

EXPERIMENT #150
"DEAD LARS AND THE DIRTY GROUND"

FILM

Star Wars (1995 "Faces" VHS).

ALBUM

White Blood Cells, the 2001 record that smeared the White Stripes all over America's bread like so much creamy peanut butter. "Fell in Love with a Girl" was the big hit, the accompanying video for which looked, if I may borrow a phrase from Will Smith, like a Lego explosion. Gave a lot of bands without bass players hope; sadly, most of those bands didn't have the talent/connections that Jack and Meg had.

SYNCHS

- C-3PO looks up to the ceiling right after Jack White says, "I was watchin'" in "Hotel Yorba" (as if he can hear Mr. White's warbling just as we can).

- The line "actin' tough and I'm gonna do what I please" in "Hotel Yorba" coincides with the first appearance of Darth Vader.

- R5-D4 explodes as the line "hope you know a strong man who can lend you a hand" is heard in "The Same Boy You've Always Known."

- "We're Going to be Friends" starts during the scene where Luke and the droids first get acquainted.

- Luke walks through a door as the line "I'm coming through the door" is heard in "Offend in Every Way."

- Luke sees his dead relatives as the line "there's no one else around" is heard in "This Protector."

NOTES

The "We're Going to be Friends" thing was cute. I got a kick out of it.

Question: have either of the White Stripes ever been photographed wearing anything other than a combination of red, white, and black? Inquiring minds like mine want to know. I'd love to see Jack in some neon Jamz and a "Who Pooted?" t-shirt. Someone hook me up with pics from their "off" days. Thanks in advance.
